Okay so I finally got around to working on the drum set. I could not seem to find any direct front side reference images so I just grabbed the best pics I could find.
Just starting with the base drum, nothing special just a cylinder with a lip created on both ends
here I'm starting with the little lip tightening bits, started with a plane from the drup then broke it up to two pieces and booleand a cylinder
after I made what looks like a bolt to tighten I gigure out how to get then oriented around the lip by playing with the mirror, duplicate and combining and rotating. I'm certain theres an easier way to do it but I figure it out.
then I combine two cylinders at an angle to make the legs then just played with the oh so lovely extrude tool to get what looks like an extending leg with a rubber bit at the end
then just mirrored, base drum effectively done.
