On to the mouth and teeth The primitive tool seems like it can be useful but i feel like i have to fight it and it didnt seem to be reflecting the control handles on symmetry plane but i was able to get it. Then making some bony protrusions on the mouth which turned out surprisingly good since im kind of rushing at this point. Masked then used the absolute brush to make the head ridge My 3d coat kept crashing when i was trying to make 3d curves so im gonna have to throw in the towel for now.

Picking up i believe we are using Pose tool to adjust the bats head. Seems pretty straight forward which is always a plus in my book. i tried to get the adams apple to try and match up but otherwise im okay with this. Next is setting up the symmetry plane and playing with the move brushes and i need to remember pressing control and clicking makes the brush perpendicular Now we get to some actual sculpting its always moments like these with either photoshop or 3dcoat where there is almost too many options with these brushes in terms of size and scale that always make me nervous because i always feel like i could do better with the brush placements and strokes but dont know those yet. but i think i got mine close at least in my artistic license. I do want to note that i realized i was using a skin texture and it was getting kind of weird so i swapped it to clay. Now we are playing with some masks and making the nose The nostrils are getting a little ri...

didnt quite do a lesson....

Didnt have as much time as i thought but i realized i accidentally deleted the ears off the model that i think he might use later I ended up loading a new file with same head and separated the ears from the body and then imported into the current file. I also had to redo my reference images. Atleast i got to mess with separating models and importing and become more familiar with setting up reference images

Getting set up on manbat thing

Spent over an hour just trying to orient the images and camera to match up. the controls feel clunky compared to maya and max so its a little daunting to also include this into my skill set but ill figure it out The next part was a bit annoying but it looks like i could figure out how to boolean and add primitives atleast but ultimately im still a little confused about adding and subtracting voxels and volume Next was messing with layers and assigining mateirals to each one Not gonna lie it was a little difficult understanding everything bu slowly im getting it i think

so it took a lot of experimenting but I managed to figure it out. I ended up making the faces in question a separate plane which made it much easier to uv unwrap and then I learned to just map the text on a separate layer then apply it. however from what I learned I could do it without making a separate plane.   at this point I'm effectively done. ill try to model some more and texture some more if time is available. I got other projects I need to krank out.
